There are two types of background options available: simple and complicated. I usually take creative freedom with backgrounds unless I've been given something specific. Simple backgrounds are the default unless a complicated one is specified. Complicated backgrounds for chibi option are experimental and will look simpler.

Simple Backgrounds include:

• Solid color and gradients
• Shapes, patterns, and textures
• Pictures, or collage
• Text
• Skyscape
• Transparent, no background
• Borders and frames
• Warp filters
• Simple doodles

Complicated Backgrounds include:

• Cityscape, landscape, or specific settings
• Complicated drawings, purikura decorations, props, or memphis pattern
• Simple vehicles, and machinery
