To answer your question..YES, I love late 80s-early 90s aesthetics...and NO, I was not there to expirience it. I'm a 1997 kid, so I kinda did...but not really. My only expirience is through tv reruns and music lol.

I've always had an interest with this era. I loved watching Saved By The Bell, Full House, Sister, Sister, Family Matters, etc. as a teen. I'd watch John Hughes films with my cousin and older sister! Needless to say 80s/90s media has been a constant in my life lol. I remember always thinking I LOVED their outfits...I want to wear that!!! My world truely came together when I got into j-fashion. My interest in j-fashion specifically lies in subgenre of fairy-kei, spank style.

Spank style is a bit more of a "casual" look focused more on the late 80s aesthetic with the pastel/bright colors / cuteness of fairy-kei. Created by Sayuri Tabuchi!
To sum up this blurb I love dressing in this style! I love pastel colors and the 80s/90s. I may not explicitly be spank, but I try my hardest to recreate both looks with what clothes I have now (Vintage and New)! Because buying shit is expensive.
