PAZMUNDO CLOSET!
Scrunchie Mania I recently got into sewing...let me be frank. I'm not cut out for this hobby at all. You need patience for sure-I lack that. The amount of times I crashed out on my aunt's machine is a bit insane. Also says alot about my emotional state. But thats fine. People need to relase their bottled up emotions. Anyways, I MADE SCRUNCHIES! I was trying to find beginner friendly projects and stumbled upon scrunchies. I use them alot, so I made three of them for practicing purposes and they turned out pretty good! (After many tantrums of course.)
Needless to say...imma keep trying to sew because i'm a stubborn person. I want to make my own cute clothes inspired by the 80s/90s one day. If fashion trends don't cater to me who will?! Dusty Dress This project I did last year! I aquried this dress randomly from a big trashbag of clothes my mom had lol. One of her cowokers gave it to her as a random grab-bag of sorts. She asked me if I wanted any clothes I could look through and take some! I ended up finding this cute babydoll style dress that fit me perfectly. Now I loved it, but HATED this drab/muted pink color. This thing literally blends in with my skin tone it's so ugly. Meanwhile on tiktok i've been seeing people dye clothes they don't wear and I thought...I could do that too! I went to Walmart and got myself the Rit color remover, and Rit dye in purple. And BAM!!! I recolored the thing. Also did some button replacements to make it even cuter (recycled from a thrifted vest)! I love the color scheme alot its so 90s. Not bad for my first dye job!
If you would like to dye your clothes I say do it! It's an easy process. Even easier if the garment in question is 100% cotton or linen etc.! They sell Rit dyes for synthetics too. ^__^ |
